Annabelle is a new-to-Canada yellow flesh variety of potatoes imported from Europe by HZPC, destined to become a Canadian favourite potato of choice for both professional chefs and home cooks.

With its distinctive full-flavoured, almost buttery taste, this gourmet variety is a smaller oval shaped potato with an attractive, smooth bright appearance, clear thin-skin and barely visible eyes.

Annabelle is a great choice for creative cooking and presentation methods. The texture of this variety is drier than many other yellow flesh potatoes, making it very suitable for boiling, creaming or baking. This potato is also considered an ideal firm ‘salad’ variety. Annabelle potatoes are highly resistant to greening and therefore have a longer than average storage life.
